The Counseling Center at South Stokes High School would like to make you aware of the many programs and opportunities available through our office. We are committed to working with all students on career and educational planning, as well as personal concerns. Our office maintains a resource room stocked with career materials, SAT and ACT registration materials, test prep booklets, information on financial aid, armed services publications, and internet access for college, scholarship and career searches. We also have information about scholarships, special programs, and summer opportunities.
Students may visit the Counseling Center during lunch periods or with a signed note from their teacher. If you need to see a counselor, you may stop in the office between classes and make the secretary aware of your request for an appointment. From time to time, we will call students out of class for counseling appointments. All conversations with the counseling staff will be held in confidence.
